Responsibilities

Provide telephone assistance to team members, patients, physicians, and the general public in a timely and professional manner
Be the keeper of the physician call schedules, out of hospital personnel lists, administrative call lists, and all miscellaneous lists used to contact people or services needed by Hospital personnel
Respond to all emergent calls quickly and efficiently, following outlined protocol to page

Qualification

Customer service experienceMicrosoft software proficiencyTelephone operations experienceHealthcare phone system experienceAnalytical skillsInterpersonal skillsCommunication skillsProblem solving skillsDetail oriented

Required

High School/GED
1 year of customer service experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented

Preferred

1 year clerical work experience
Experience in telephone or Switchboard operations
1 year experience in a healthcare related phone system operation
