Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver training programs for production floor employees, including onboarding, upskilling, cross-training, and compliance/safety training
Facilitate classroom, hands-on, and on-the-job training (OJT) sessions tailored to production roles
Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in collaboration with supervisors and managers to identify skills gaps and prioritize training initiatives
Maintain and update training materials, SOPs, job aids, and learning management system (LMS) content
Monitor and assess training effectiveness through assessments, observations, and feedback loops; continuously improve training content
Support the development of career pathways and internal certification programs for operators, technicians, and leads
Maintain training records and compliance documentation to meet internal standards and external regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO)
Coach and mentor production employees, acting as a point of contact for skill development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, EHS, Operations) to ensure training aligns with company goals and standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–4 years of experience in a training role, preferably within a production/manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and facilitation techniques
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, safety practices, and quality systems
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Preferred

Bilingual (e.g., English/Spanish) a plus
Spanish speaking proficiency
Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen methodologies
Prior experience building internal certification programs or career pathing frameworks
Proficient with all parts of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
