Responsibilities

Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency
Estimate production times, staffing requirements and related costs to provide information for management decisions
Communicate manufacturing capabilities, production schedules or other information to facilitate production processes
Confer with vendors to determine product specifications and coordinate equipment, material, and parts purchases
Evaluate products and processes against specifications and quality standards
Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required
0–5 years of experience for Entry to Mid-Level
5–10 years of experience for Senior-Level
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Technical Skills (Level-Dependent Proficiency)
Mechanical design and equipment development
Welding processes (MIG, TIG, Gas)
CAD software experience (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
Basic to intermediate operation of small machining centers and lathes
PLC knowledge (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Keyence)
General understanding to hands-on programming experience
Ability to read electrical blueprints
Understanding of wiring methods and ladder logic
Must be authorized to work in the United States
