Mechanical Engineer, Frame and Cab

Responsibilities
Develop 3D models and 2D drawings for chassis components (frame attachments, battery mounting brackets, cab interfaces) using CATIA V5/V6
Manage the Release to Manufacturing process, including BOM (Bill of Materials) management and ECO (Engineering Change Order) documentation
Perform basic structural analysis and clearance checks to ensure no interference with high-voltage cabling or powertrain components
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure parts are designed for high-yield manufacturing (stamping, casting, or weldments)
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
2+ years of experience in automotive or heavy equipment design
Proficiency in CATIA V5 or 3DEXPERIENCE (V6) is a must
Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and ASME Y14.5 standards
