Office Associate
Serres Corporation is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Office Assistant to support daily administrative, accounting, and payroll functions. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with strong data entry and bookkeeping skills, proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities
Provide daily administrative and office support
Perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions accurately and timely
Maintain financial records using QuickBooks
Prepare invoices, post payments, and follow up on outstanding receivables
Assist with payroll processing, including time entry, payroll data entry, and reports
Complete routine and detailed data entry with a high level of accuracy
Reconcile accounts and assist with basic financial reporting
Maintain organized filing systems and documentation
Communicate with vendors, contractors, and internal staff
Support management with scheduling, reporting, and general office tasks
Daily Office tasks such as answering phones etc
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in an office assistant, administrative, or bookkeeping role
Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
QuickBooks proficiency required
Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with payroll and data entry
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience in construction, heavy job, or contracting environments
Familiarity with job costing, purchase orders, or construction payroll
Ability to adapt quickly to company systems and processes
