Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly to management roles across multiple locations
Conduct on-site hiring events, interviews, and local community recruiting
Build strong talent pipelines, especially for high-turnover roles and new store openings
Coordinate onboarding steps, including background checks, I-9s, and new-hire orientation
Maintain HRIS accuracy and support payroll/benefits inquiries
Partner with Unit Managers on staffing needs, hiring standards, and HR processes
Provide guidance on interview best practices, policy compliance, and basic employee relations
Qualification
Required
Strong communication and customer service skills across all levels of staff
Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English
Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or multi-unit operations
Proven success in fast-paced, high-volume hiring environments
Experience with Japanese restaurants or food-related industries
Background in new store openings or pre-opening support
Prior experience with multi-location or franchised operations
