Responsibilities
Prepare commentaries and fund performance reviews across equity strategies
Research, develop and prepare written presentation materials with relevant industry and company data
Assist in responding to client inquiries by assembling market data, developing consistent narratives, and liaising with portfolio managers and research analysts
Coordinate with Communications while developing presentation materials and preparing periodic updates to ensure that timelines are met
Customize reporting material to meet different client needs and requests
Liaise with other departments (Product Services, Client Services, Marketing, Investment Operations, Performance Attribution, and Legal) to support client requirements and assist in providing information related to client inquiries
Innovate and draft marketing charts for new viewpoints on performance and investment ideas; provide sales teams with relevant news flow related to current events pertinent to given investment strategies
Prepare a variety of internal reports for broad distribution across the firm
Identify ways of creating efficiencies/improving processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
A minimum of 2 years' experience working in financial services (internship experience will be considered)
Working knowledge and understanding of capital markets
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint
A self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently
Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Well organized and able to prioritize multiple requests from a variety of sources
A team player and collaborates well with others
Preferred
Familiarity with Bloomberg and/or FactSet
Familiarity with portfolio attribution
