Independent Purchasing Cooperative is seeking a Sr. Manager of Strategic Sourcing for their SUBWAY® restaurants. Responsibilities

Develop and support strategies, programs, and policies for categories under their responsibility that meet short- and long-term goals and objectives

Communicate performance against category strategies and goals to key stakeholders on a regular basis

Negotiate and execute key contracts in alignment with sourcing strategies to create the best value for the services being sourced

Foster effective relationships and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to build alignment on strategic initiatives and projects

Lead RFI / RFP activity for the category

Lead and facilitate the evaluation of suppliers, services and product categories to assure supply, reduce risk and ensure compliance with Brand claims and government regulations

Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with vendors to evaluate performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure alignment with company objectives

Establish and manage KPIs to ensure accountability and favorably manage cost and risks for products being sourced

Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Legal, IT, Communications, Security, and Member Support to drive the successful execution of organizational and brand initiatives, while optimizing value and operational efficiency

Manage a team of sourcing professionals, including overall development, to achieve category goals

Ensure procurement operations are executed within budgetary guidelines and financial targets

Perform all other job functions in support of business needs as reasonably assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree Required, Preferably in Supply Chain, Food Science, Business Administration, or related field

Minimum seven (7) years of experience in strategic sourcing/procurement Required
