Responsibilities
Advise employers on a broad range of labor and employment law matters, including compliance, risk management, and day-to-day workplace issues
Handle employment-related litigation, including discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination claims
Conduct and oversee workplace investigations, draft and update employment policies and handbooks, and provide compliance training to management teams
Partner closely with clients to understand business objectives and deliver strategic, practical legal guidance tailored to their needs
Participate in and support business development efforts, including maintaining and growing client relationships and contributing to practice expansion
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience practicing labor and employment law
Active Florida and/or Georgia Bar membership in good standing
Strong litigation background in employment matters
Demonstrated willingness or existing ability to grow a book of business and contribute to firm growth
Proven track record advising clients on employment law issues and managing litigation
Experience with workplace investigations, policy development, and compliance training
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and effectively
Client focused, with the ability to align legal strategy with clients' business goals
