The candidate will lead financial reporting, planning, and analysis for North American customs duties, tariffs, and freight operations while collaborating closely with operations leadership.

Responsibilities

Develop strong business partnerships with Operations Leadership and key stakeholders by setting short- and long-term financial and operational targets and driving the execution of business strategies and management, planning and analysis of customs duties and tariffs

Leads the duty/tariff and freight month-end close process and related controlling activities, including identifying, preparing, and adjusting accruals; collaborates closely with Market FP&A to ensure accurate allocation and billing of service charges

Owns the design, development, and maintenance of Operations/Finance business intelligence infrastructure, dashboards, and reporting solutions

Partners with Operations leadership to conduct deep-dive analyses into trends, productivity KPIs, and operational insights; prepares management reports to satisfy both local and corporate requirements

Enables effective decision-making by retrieving, consolidating, and transforming data from multiple sources into clear, actionable formats

Leads cost-optimization initiatives and evaluates financial returns on automation and process-improvement projects

Provides financial insights and recommendations for periodic business reviews with senior management

Drives simplification and efficiency across finance operations by identifying opportunities to automate, streamline, and enhance processes and tools

Manages financial relationships with freight forwarders and transportation providers, ensuring service performance and supporting the resolution of operational issues
