Responsibilities
Greet visitors, clients, and volunteers with a friendly and respectful attitude
Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
Respond to email inquiries or route messages to appropriate staff
Assist clients with check-in and intake procedures
Maintain confidentiality and dignity of all clients and visitors
Schedule appointments or food pick-up times when necessary
Help maintain accurate records and update the client database
Distribute informational materials or forms to clients and visitors
Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
Ensure the reception area is tidy, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Maintain and order office supplies; monitor inventory
Collaborate with staff and volunteers to support pantry operations
Qualification
Required
Passionate candidate to work at a food pantry
Ability to manage day-to-day front desk operations
Friendly and respectful attitude towards visitors, clients, and volunteers
Ability to answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
Ability to respond to email inquiries or route messages to appropriate staff
Experience assisting clients with check-in and intake procedures
Ability to maintain confidentiality and dignity of all clients and visitors
Ability to schedule appointments or food pick-up times when necessary

Ability to distribute informational materials or forms to clients and visitors
Experience supporting administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
Ability to ensure the reception area is tidy, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Ability to maintain and order office supplies; monitor inventory
Ability to collaborate with staff and volunteers to support pantry operations
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with frequent interaction with clients from varied backgrounds
Ability to lift supplies (up to 20 lbs.)
Availability to work Monday–Thursday at the cupboard, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
