Program Manager - Obesity (Contract-6+ mo opportunity)

They are seeking a dynamic Contract Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams in developing innovative strategies for their programs in Obesity, collaborating with Program Leads to execute comprehensive plans from preclinical stages through to regulatory approval and commercialization.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with Program Leads and cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans
Establish and maintain functionally integrated program schedules in accordance with established structures to enable accurate project analyses, identification of critical path activities and areas of resource constraint
Collaborate with functions to forecast and manage resources and budgets
Foster a culture of risk awareness
Lead risk identification and risk response planning
Lead scenario planning efforts to prepare teams for differing outcomes at key milestones
Facilitate communication and alignment across pre-clinical, CMC, clinical, regulatory, and commercial functions
Build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Manage escalation and contribute to decision-making and strategic alignment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences (10+ years of multi-disciplinary experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry), Master's degree (8+ years), or PhD (5+ years)
Significant experience developing drugs for obesity (e.g., GLP-1) is essential
Experience managing early and late phase global drug development efforts, including IND/CTA, global clinical studies, biologic modalities (peptides, antibodies and/or conjugates)
Demonstrated knowledge of project management theory and practice, particularly in drug development
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Planisware, OnePager, Office Timeline or similar)
Ability to lead, mentor, and align cross-functional teams around common goals
Ability to manage conflict, drive consensus, and promote decision-making
