Responsibilities

Conduction interval quality checks and completing paperwork per SOP

Maintain and calibrate test equipment and gauges

Work with Code Agency personnel to ensure conformance with quality standards and product requirements

Providing production with technical advice pertaining to quality assurance and control as necessary

Check dimensions and finishes against blueprints or work order specifications

Supervise and/or conduct rework activities on damaged product

Support plant’s compliance with company-wide initiatives

Drive system audits for compliance and work with internal customers to ensure success

Excellent communication skills with the ability to read and write in English

Ability to operate forklift as needed

Cross train in other departments and perform other duties as dictated by business needs

Inspect coils loads, measure thickness, width; test hardness & check against specifications sheet from computer

Required

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

6+ months experience in Quality Control required

Must be able to pass physical and hair follicle drug screen

Ideal candidate must be flexible available to work overtime on short notice

Ability to communicate, both written and orally, regarding recurring quality problems, quality audits and other production/quality issues

Excellent communication skills with the ability to read and write in English

Ability to operate forklift as needed
