The Assistant Operational Support is an important member of the Varsity All Star Operations Team, providing support to the operational members of the department and executing additional job functions.

Responsibilities
Assist and work closely with the warehouse manager
Assist Logistics Coordinators with inventory, transportation and supply chain processes
Assist Event Coordinators with the organization of event details
Assist Event Planners as they work with Event Coordinators
Assist Production Coordinators with event preparation and equipment management
Assist Logistics Coordinators with inventory, transportation, supply chain processes
Assist Registration with customer service and data entry
General clerical work and office management tasks
Serve in various support roles at events
Assist and/or lead Set up and Breakdown at events
Qualification
Required
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Ability to problem solve under pressure
Familiarity with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suites
High level of customer service acumen
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with various stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience is preferred
Prior experience in cheer/dance industry a plus
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Repetitive movement of the body is required
Lifting of no less than 15-50 lbs. on a regular basis
Ability to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment
Ability to often lift heavy items
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (five hours plus)
Ability to communicate with customers and colleagues using radio, walkie talkie, text message, and email
Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and manipulate equipment that is a minimum of 30 lbs
