Responsibilities

Support recruitment activities by coordinating with hiring managers and helping to track progress in established systems
Assist with the candidate selection and onboarding process, including scheduling interviews, helping with initial screenings, and contributing to a positive orientation experience
Contribute to local talent attraction efforts by posting jobs on various platforms and assisting in organizing plant career fairs or community outreach events
Provide general HR support by responding to employee questions, helping with investigations, and assisting with disciplinary processes under the supervision of senior HR team members
Act as a point of contact for employees and supervisors for basic policy, procedure, and program questions, and refer more complex issues to senior staff as needed
Help with the administration of HR programs and policies, ensuring information is communicated clearly and complies with company guidelines
Assist in maintaining accurate employee records, including attendance and performance documentation, using HR systems and plant-level tools
Support compliance with company policies and local labor regulations by helping with basic compliance matters
Participate in compliance reporting and audits by following established procedures under guidance
Keep supervisors updated about HR-related matters and share practical suggestions for resolution when appropriate
Encourage a culture of safety and compliance by following the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct and supporting plant standards in daily activities
Take part in special projects or improvement initiatives as assigned to help enhance HR processes and employee experiences
Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Management OR 4 years of HR generalist experience without a degree

Preferred

Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including AAP and EEO requirements
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships
High level of discretion in handling confidential information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills
Proven analytical and conflict resolution skills for handling complex issues
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Exceptional organizational, planning, and follow-up skills
Experience working in a global team or matrix organization
Familiarity with HR Shared Services delivery models
Hands-on experience using Workday HRIS
Background in a non-unionized manufacturing environment
Broad HR expertise across multiple functional areas (staffing, benefits, compensation, etc.)
Demonstrated success in maintaining positive employee relations in a manufacturing setting
