Clinical Research Coordinator
The University of Michigan is seeking a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator to work on externally funded projects in the School of Kinesiology. The role involves conducting research, overseeing data management, and coordinating study activities while demonstrating strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
Conducting biomechanics research under the direction of the PIs (EF)
Overseeing data processing and clinical data management in software such as RedCap and Qualtrics (EF)
Managing the training of undergraduate research assistants
Assisting in data analysis
Supporting collaborations with outside researchers
Acting as study coordinator for active projects, including identifying participants, determining eligibility, consenting, and scheduling (EF)
Preparing study materials, including recruitment materials and online surveys, for data collection (EF)
Assisting with IRB applications, including IRB maintenance tasks (e.g, continuing reviews, data and safety monitoring submissions) (EF)
Managing purchasing of lab supplies, coordinating purchases with research administrator and other administrative staff as needed (EF)
Managing maintenance of lab equipment, coordinating with support staff as needed to fix equipment issues
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
1+ years of experience with clinical data management
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Knowledge of basic MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) applications
Ability to remain stationary at a computer for up to 4 hours at a time to collect, process, or review data
Ability to move laboratory equipment up to 20lbs
Proven success with contributing to a positive workplace culture, and ability to consistently demonstrate our school's Core Values
Preferred
Master's degree in Kinesiology, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
1+ year of experience in a research lab setting
Experience with writing and maintaining IRB protocols and conducting human subjects research
Experience with coding and data processing with Matlab, R, or similar programming language and motion capture software packages
Experience with electronic medical record systems (Epic)
