Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall design and configuration of the Salesforce solution to meet the functions defined by the requirements and elicited business rules
Configure the solution database to include client data fields
Ensures the solution complies with information security standards, Protocols, best practices, requirements, and all required applicable state security provisions
Accountable for the clients system architecture, technical design and technical implementation
Responsible for defining and documenting network, security, and server specifications for off-premise and on-premise components
Responsible for ensuring that policies, standards, and procedures related to infrastructure, security, configuration, and code (where applicable) are established, documented, communicated, validated, and enforced
Accountable for the traceability of requirements through the implementation phases/activities with both the positive confirmation of requirements and unit testing (or methodology equivalent activity identified by the Contractor)
Responsible for the implementation of functional, data science and data integration requirements
Responsible for the definition and management of all pre-production and production environments
Responsible for the development of transition documentation and training required to conduct production cutover activities
Document business user stories and service models for the solution to align with the client enterprise architecture and adopt practices accounting for business, application, data, technology and security domains
Design and deliver solutions and interfaces using DevOps methodologies, accounting for logical and operational models addressing application, data, security, and infrastructure
Research, analyze, and recommend available software, platforms, and technologies to meet the State's standards and align to client services
Provide recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions, including all technical documentation on the Contractor's solution
Monitor the development process and keep stakeholders, including senior architects and technical operations teams, informed in collaboration with the Lead Developer
Support the data migration team with data migration planning and data conversion and transformation activities
Perform and manage design, debug, and performance analysis on solutions
Manage and communicate technical risks and mitigation options during solution development
Develop detailed design documents, interface specifications, and performance and capacity test plans. Integrates and translates complex technical concepts and User Stories into actionable development plans
Conduct knowledge transfer through the solution lifecycle phases
Qualification
Required
Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in electronic data processing systems study, design, and programming
Within the last ten (10) years, at least three (3) years of electronic data processing systems study, design, and programming experience must have been in a lead capacity
Must possess a bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. A copy of the degree must be provided upon request. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis
Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum five (5) years prior experience in Salesforce development and configuration
Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum three (3) years of prior experience in Salesforce Front-End Technologies, Visual Force, Lightning Flows, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components and Apex development
Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum three (3) years of prior experience in performing unit tests and shoulder checks
Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum three (3) years of prior experience in product owner approvals/sign-off of built functionality
Must be able to provide a client/user end reference contact information for each applicable project meeting the requirements upon request. The reference contact must be a representative of the company for which the project was developed and have performed a management or supervisory role
Preferred
Possession of one or more relevant Salesforce Developer Certifications. A copy of the certification must be provided upon request
Salesforce Platform Developer 1 Certification
Salesforce Platform Developer 2 Certification
Salesforce Platform App Builder certification
Salesforce Advanced Developer
Within the last ten (10) years, prior experience with the Water Industry or similar Natural Resources agencies
Within the last ten (10) years, at least three (3) years of experience with technical system documentation & knowledge transfer
