7+ years expKforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Data Engineer. The Senior Data Engineer will build and optimize scalable data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and Azure Databricks while ensuring data quality, performance, security, and governance in a regulated environment.

Senior Data Engineer will build and optimize scalable data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and Azure Databricks
Develop ELT/ETL workflows across Azure data services (e.g., ADLS, ADF)
Partner with analytics and business teams to deliver operational and regulatory insights
Ensure data quality, performance, security, and governance in a regulated environment
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will support CI/CD, monitoring, and production troubleshooting
Contribute to technical design and mentor junior engineers
Qualification
Required
7+ years of data engineering experience
Proven Azure data platform experience
Deep experience with Databricks (jobs, clusters, Delta Lake)
Experience in large-scale, enterprise environments
Strong hands-on Python & PySpark
Preferred
Snowflake
Energy & Utilities domain experience (grid, assets, meter data)
Streaming data or real-time pipelines
