The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is seeking a Grants Analyst to join their team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

Perform a variety of complex, technical, and varied analytical and evaluative work relating to the provisions of state and federal grant programs within Cal OES
Review, analyze, process, and prepare responses to a variety of forms, documents, and correspondence pertaining to state and federal grant programs
Meet legal, regulatory, and internal deadlines on all assignments
Formulate procedures, policies, and program alternatives, making recommendations on program-related issues
Advise management on the potential impact of program-related issues
Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders, including FEMA
Analyze situations and take effective action
Conduct workshop presentations
Travel throughout the state as required
Work independently and in a team environment

Required

Must be able to analyze situations and take effective action
Travel throughout the state is required and will conduct workshop presentations
May be required to work overtime as necessary in support of Cal OES program objectives
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
Participation in the DMV Pull Program is required
The position(s) require(s) a valid Driver's License (DL)
