Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities
Execute Local Procurement Strategies: Support implementation of local sourcing strategies, contracts, and supplier relationship management in alignment with Global Category Management guidelines
Optimize Processes: Utilize and continuously improve requisition-to-payment workflows, ensuring compliance with global procurement standards
Drive Sourcing Excellence: Manage sourcing and purchasing for indirect materials and services not covered by existing agreements, including unique or local requirements
Lead RFQ Coordination: Oversee RFQ processes, analyze supplier proposals, and recommend solutions based on total cost of ownership
Monitor Supplier Performance: Track pricing, quality, and delivery metrics; resolve supply chain issues promptly and effectively
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with internal stakeholders to select appropriate materials/services and ensure seamless procurement operations
Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities: Evaluate and report cost reduction initiatives, sharing insights with global procurement teams
Support Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process enhancements, automation, and lean initiatives to maintain uninterrupted material and service flow
Deliver Exceptional Service: Build strong internal customer relationships through proactive engagement and service excellence
Champion Innovation: Support technology-driven solutions that simplify processes and enhance the ease of doing business
Participate in Projects: Engage in special projects and provide backup support for other procurement agents as needed

Qualification
Required
Education: Associate degree in a business-related field
Skills: Proven analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience: Prior experience in procurement or supply chain
