Systems Engineer, Mid- Level
Sedulous Consulting Services LLC is seeking a Mid-level Systems Engineer to support the Advanced Amphibious Vehicle (AAV) and Advanced Combat Vehicle (ACV) programs at Marine Corps Systems Command. The role involves providing systems engineering support, conducting technical analyses, and developing engineering documentation for AAV engineering changes.

Responsibilities
Provide Systems Engineering support in conducting, planning, and reporting technical analyses of engineering changes to the AAV
Review and develop AAV engineering changes
Review, analyze, develop, and comment on engineering documentation (e.g., Specifications, Interface Control Documents (ICP), Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Test Plans/Reports, Engineering Analyses)
Review, assess, and develop updates to AAV SE processes (e.g., Configuration Management (CM), ECPs, and technical reviews), and ensure they are either consistent with or incorporated into the PM AAA processes
Qualification
Required
Knowledgeable in the DoD 5000 Framework
Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information
Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing
Ability to work with large amounts of data
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field
4-6 years of related professional experience
Provided systems engineering support to a defense acquisition program
Reviewed and developed engineering design changes, planned and conducted technical analyses, and reported findings
Developed, reviewed, and provided comments to various engineering documents (Specifications, ICPs, ECPs, Test Plans and Reports, Engineering Analyses, etc.)
Reviewed and updated systems engineering processes (CM, technical reviews, etc.)
Ability to see and hear, read, and write effectively in English
Requires adaptability, analyzing, assessing, calculating, decision making, dependability, good judgment, reading, memorizing, social skills, speaking, stress control, and writing
Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information
Ability to apply common sense in performing job
Ability to complete routine forms, use existing forms, and/or conduct routine oral communication
Ability to make decisions which have significant impact on the immediate work unit
Preferred
Working knowledge of engineering and architecture tools such as Rational, Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System, Visio, System Architect, MagicDraw (desired)
