KSL NewsRadio Movie Show Co-Host (Part time)

They are seeking a Co-Host for the KSL Movie Show on KSL NewsRadio, responsible for providing on-air reviews of theatrical releases and streaming films, writing film reviews, and participating in show production meetings.

Responsibilities

Be prepared to provide on-air reviews at least two (2) or three (3) new theatrical releases per week, sometimes more as show plans require
Be prepared to provide one air reviews at least one (1) new streaming film per week, as needed
Occasionally be prepared to provide reviews of episodes of new streaming series, as needed
Write two film reviews each week to be published on KSL websites
Participate in a weekly show production meeting
Appear at remote broadcast locations each week, as needed
Provide reviews on live broadcast radio and live streaming video, and recorded original podcasts (audio & video)

Required

Member of a recognized film critics association
Multiple years of published or broadcast film reviews (Your own website or YouTube channel is acceptable, but does not include social media platforms like Facebook, X, Letterboxd or similar)
Work effectively in a team environment
Proven ability to handle stress
Ability to consistently work hours required. Works more when required to meet deadlines including weekends, evenings, etc
Project an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor
Maintain positive and cooperative rapport with staff, management and clients
Computer literate with working knowledge of Excel, Word and Teams
Ability to understand and follow instructions and work with minimum supervision
Strong self-motivation, well organized, and dependable
Project pleasant, friendly, professional, business-like demeanor in person, over the telephone and through e-mail
Proven ability to work autonomously as well as establish effective communications and working relationships with co-workers and others while performing job responsibilities
Ability to exercise good judgment and make a positive impact on department's productivity
Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively
Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate computer keys and general office equipment. Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods of time
Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
Lift, move and carry up to 20 lbs. on occasion

Preferred

Rotten Tomatoes certification preferred but not required
Previous broadcast experience preferred (TV, Radio, or podcast)
