Watchfire is seeking an Intern in Mechanical Engineering to assist with hardware development activities. The intern will collaborate with Mechanical Engineers on projects, prototyping, and testing of new and existing products.

Responsibilities

Participate in hardware development activities

Assist Mechanical Engineers with projects and prototyping as needed

Help with testing and evaluation of new and existing products

Collaborate closely with R&D team members

Qualification

CAD softwareMicrosoft softwareMechanical Engineering studentCommunicationWork independently

Required

Experience with CAD software, preferably Autodesk products (Inventor)

Experience with Microsoft software, Outlook, Word, Excel and Sharepoint

Ability to work independently

Excellent written and communication skills

Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of semester

Able to work up to 40 hours per week during summer session

Must have been enrolled full-time for the current semester, new graduates are still eligible for this position
