Responsibilities

Demonstrates strong safety culture through personal behavior and commitment to environmental, health & safety; Adhere to and carry out all company environmental rules, polices, standards & procedures

Conducts tasks with appropriate PPE as assigned

Knowledge and understanding of electrical equipment and the associated documentation within assigned areas of responsibility and capable of utilizing the following standard reference material such as ANSI, NFPA 70e, NEC, and NETA

Working knowledge of all the standard electrical test equipment

Knowledge and understanding of the power distribution system to write Safe Work Permits, switching orders and perform electrical systems isolation

Must have the ability to read, interpret basic electrical drawings, maintain, and initiate required revisions to documentation

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Ability to quickly identify, analyze, and resolve electrical and control system issues using technical knowledge and logical thinking

Time Management: Skilled at prioritizing tasks and managing schedules to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

Teamwork: Works effectively with colleagues and other departments, fostering collaboration and supporting shared objectives

Detail Oriented: Maintains accuracy and precision when installing, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with standards and safety protocols

Risk Awareness: Understands and applies safety procedures when working with high-voltage systems and hazardous materials; proactively identifies and mitigates risks
