The role involves working closely with businesses on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate work, offering meaningful responsibility and direct client interaction.
Responsibilities
Work closely with businesses as a trusted advisor while supporting a wide range of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions and general corporate work
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements
Advise on corporate governance matters
Assist with entity formation and structuring
Support M&A transactions
Qualification
Required
Approximately 5+ years of corporate transactional experience, including exposure to mergers and acquisitions
Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements; advising on corporate governance matters; assisting with entity formation and structuring; and supporting M&A transactions
Comfortable working directly with clients and acting as a day-to-day legal advisor to owner-managed and growth-oriented businesses
Admission to the New York Bar is required
Ability to work in a hybrid environment with regular in-office presence in New York
