They are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support maintenance groups on various electrical and electronic systems for manufacturing machinery, focusing on improvements in safety, maintainability, and reliability.

Responsibilities

Provide troubleshooting expertise to maintenance personnel

Identify opportunities for improvements for safety, maintainability, reliability, and operability and execute small projects to achieve these goals from conception through installation and commissioning

Specify electrical and components to optimize standardization and reliability

Assist in improving and executing the maintenance electrician training program

Manage machine control software applications

Required

A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology

At least three years of hands-on experience performing troubleshooting or engineering related functions with the following: + PLC based control systems + Three phase power distribution systems. + Industrial instrumentation + Variable Frequency Drives and induction motors

Skill with creating electrical schematics with AutoCAD

The ability to manage multiple projects while being available to assist maintenance personnel with factory floor downtime issues

The ability to self-motivate and complete independent assignments or components of group projects in a timely manner

The aptitude and desire to be a good student of Poly-America processes, equipment, and procedures

Successfully passing a drug screen is required for this position
