Sales Lead, Homebuilders
Cedar is a company focused on innovating home affordability solutions. The Sales Lead, Homebuilders will build and scale relationships with residential homebuilders, integrating Cedar's affordability solutions into sales workflows to enhance project viability and accelerate absorption.

Responsibilities
Identify and pursue partnerships with regional and national homebuilders and developers
Build a pipeline of qualified builder relationships across target markets
Position Cedar as a strategic affordability and sales-enablement partner for new construction
Convert builder interest into executed agreements and live, producing relationships
Present Cedar’s model to builder executives, development leadership, and sales management
Work directly with builder sales teams to drive adoption at the community and project level
Support builder sales staff with training, materials, and on-site enablement as needed
Represent Cedar at builder, development, and housing industry events
Manage the builder partner lifecycle from initial outreach through launch and ongoing performance
Coordinate internally to ensure smooth integration with builder sales processes
Collaborate with Marketing on builder-specific collateral and buyer-facing materials
Help builders understand how to position Cedar with buyers in a compliant, compelling way
Act as the primary feedback loop between builders and Cedar’s internal teams
Surface insights on buyer objections, pricing sensitivity, and absorption dynamics
Contribute to go-to-market strategy and geographic expansion planning
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or business development
Direct experience selling to homebuilders, developers, or new-construction sales organizations
Strong understanding of how new-construction homes are marketed and sold
Familiarity with mortgage, affordability, or buyer financing concepts is a strong plus
Proven ability to build pipeline, close complex deals, and manage long sales cycles
Excellent executive communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable working in a metric-driven, performance-oriented sales environment
Self-starter with strong follow-through, organization, and ownership mindset
Passion for expanding access to homeownership and affordability
