First Citizens Bank is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join their team, focusing on supporting Commercial and Business Banking groups. The role involves providing ongoing sales support, managing loan documentation, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Provide ongoing sales support to Lenders, including identifying sales and cross sell opportunities, coordinating materials for presentations, setting up sales calls, maintaining prospect lists, and making joint calls as needed
Originates, processes, and ensures accuracy of loan documentation for closings. This includes entering financial information into the loan system and ensuring that all necessary documentation is included in the loan package prior to closing
Resolving documentation exception issues, maintaining service levels, updating financial statements, and preparing files for all portfolio reviews. Run reports to track maturing lines/loans and service levels
Communicate, report, and follow up on portfolio past dues to ensure they remain current, while maintaining customer contact
Coordinates opening of deposit and other banking services with branch partners. Handles customer requests for information and problem resolution

Required

High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of experience in sales or lending support OR Bachelor's Degree with experience in sales or lending support
Must have 1+ years of experience, specifically in business or commercial loan processing
Must have 1+ years of Loan Servicing and Documentation Preparation experience
Strong working knowledge of the loan documentation and loan closing processes
Experience with UCC filings
Experience assisting multiple bankers
Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Highly organized and deadline driven
Detail oriented with strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and risk awareness in a banking environment
Strong ability to multitask
Professional written and verbal communication skills
