InternCrest Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join their team this summer. This internship offers hands-on experience in core accounting functions, focusing on Accounts Payable processing and financial operations.

Responsibilities
Assist with Accounts Payable processing, including invoice review, general ledger coding, and three-way matching (purchase order, receipt, and invoice)
Learn and support the cash flow cycle, including the benefits of early payment discounts
Prepare and post journal entries
Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
Assist with month-end close activities
Communicate and collaborate with internal departments such as Purchasing, Receiving, HR, Plant Supervisors, and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and meet deadlines
Develop time-management skills by planning daily tasks to support timely and accurate processing
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a college or university, Junior level or above, pursuing Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks
Preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
