Motion Recruitment is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead a team of six .NET software developers in designing, developing, and maintaining in-house software solutions. The role requires strong leadership and technical expertise to integrate applications into the client's AI application leveraging OpenAI’s GPT-4 technology.

Responsibilities

Oversee a team of six .NET Developers and the end-to-end development of in-house web, mobile, and Windows applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements
Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including agile methodologies, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
Coordinate team workflows, ensuring effective communication and alignment on project priorities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field highly preferred
7+ years of software development experience
2+ years in a leadership or management role
Experience managing small, agile teams of developers working on web, mobile, and/or Windows applications
Proficiency in C#, Angular, REST APIs, ASP.NET core, Azure DevOps, and SQL Server
Sound knowledge of Azure DevOps for CI/CD, source control, and deployment
Working understanding of AI concepts, especially LLMs (Large Language Models), and practical experience with OpenAI APIs
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Strong communication skills to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
Strategic mindset with the ability to align AI initiatives with business objectives
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
