Responsibilities

Draft and organize various legal documents including, but not limited to motions, pleadings, interrogatories, correspondence, and other documents related to the discovery process during litigation
Manage trial calendars for the legal team, ensuring all deadlines are met
Creation of discovery indices
Scheduling of expert witnesses
Communications with all parties to litigation
Provide trial support, including fact-checking, evidence preparation, presentations and technology support
Maintain organized case files and databases

Required

Strong understanding of case management
Legal research
Document preparation

Creation of discovery indices

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a high volume of cases and efficiently meet deadlines
Proficiency in legal research and case management software
Excellent written and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with individuals at all organizational levels

Preferred

Paralegal degree or paralegal certificate
Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
Notary public
Pro-Law
