HR Business Partner
Horizontal Talent is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to shape organizational culture and drive HR initiatives. This hybrid role involves collaborating with leaders on HR strategies, coordinating site transitions, and promoting employee engagement and compliance with employment laws.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness
Coordinate activities related to site transition, ensuring smooth communication and employee support during the process
Provide guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with internal processes and promoting sound decision-making
Assist in talent planning, including recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and development initiatives
Analyze employee data to identify trends and recommend actions for improvement in engagement and retention
Champion cultural initiatives that promote autonomy, responsibility, and inclusivity
Ensure compliance with employment laws and support consistent HR policy application
Participate in HR projects and execute cyclical HR activities such as performance reviews and compensation cycles
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of progressive HR experience, including HRBP roles
Proficiency in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and provide innovative HR solutions
Effective communication skills and ability to foster collaborative cross-functional relationships
Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems, preferably WorkDay
Preferred
Experience supporting manufacturing and operations sites
Advanced degree or HR certification such as SHRM
Experience in project management and consulting with leadership on HR strategies
