Employee Engagement Coordinator (THSL)
Civitas Senior Living is a company dedicated to enhancing the lives of residents through compassionate care. They are seeking an Employee Engagement Coordinator to manage employee relations, oversee training and orientation, and ensure compliance with community standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
Make rounds to ensure the community meets established standards; report to the department Director if corrections are needed
Support marketing tours as required; know the process for collecting deposits and guiding prospective residents through the discovery process
Assist the Wellness Director with budget oversight related to employee relations and employee recognition events
Schedule candidate interviews and conduct initial interviews for wellness and other departments when needed
Organize and schedule orientation and training sessions for new employees in Memory Care (MC) and Assisted Living (AL)
Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and in-service training for all staff
Manage staffing schedules and PTO; monitor for overtime issues in the wellness department
Provide employee coaching, validation, and observation; report performance feedback to the Wellness Director
Ensure new employees demonstrate competency in their assigned roles
Collaborate with other directors to celebrate special achievements as part of the Passion Program
Serve as on-call support for employee inquiries during the week and share on-call responsibilities on weekends with other management
Assist with weekly medication audits and MAR audits as needed
Support cycle tasks when necessary
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
Ensure compliance with regulations regarding residents’ rights
Follow and communicate company policies and procedures
Attend required training sessions as directed by your supervisor
Support Passion Program initiatives
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to see and hear (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Must adhere to and promote community guidelines, policies, procedures, mission statement, values, and goals
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English; basic math skills required
Comfortable using telephones (including intercoms), calculators, pagers, and smartphones
Ability to stand for 80% of the shift and to move quickly and safely in emergencies
