Sales Research Analyst

Responsibilities

Research companies that are expanding, relocating, building new facilities, or reconfiguring warehouse space
Monitor permits, construction activity, real estate moves, business news, LinkedIn signals, and industry data
Identify opportunities early — before competitors are engaged
Make outbound phone calls and send professional, targeted emails to confirm timing, decision-makers, and project needs
Ask concise, intelligent questions to determine sales readiness
Separate 'interesting' from truly actionable
Deliver well-documented, high-quality leads into Salesforce (or CRM)
Provide context: •why this company, why now, and what problem we can solve•
Partner with sales reps to refine targeting and improve conversion rates
Help refine research methods, tools, and data sources
Suggest better ways to find, score, and prioritize opportunities
Track outcomes and adjust approach based on what converts to revenue

Qualification

Required

1–3+ years of experience in research, sales support, lead generation, business development, or analyst roles
Comfortable making outbound phone calls and writing professional emails
Naturally curious with a strong investigative mindset
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
Clear, concise communicator
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an on-site environment

Preferred

Experience researching real estate, warehousing, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial markets
Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CoStar, permit databases, or similar platforms
Understanding of B2B sales cycles or project-based selling
Sales support: 2 years (Preferred)
Market research: 2 years (Preferred)
Working with a CRM: 2 years (Preferred)
Phone and email outreach: 2 years (Preferred)
