Responsibilities

Safely operate powered take-up and wire processing equipment
Pull wire from large reels stored in racking systems
Accurately measure and cut wire to customer-specified lengths
Install and secure wire pulling heads as required
Package, label, and stage completed orders for shipment
Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards
Maintain production logs, inventory usage, and traceability records
Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance or safety concerns
Uphold all Power Design policies, quality procedures, and OSHA safety standards
Assist in keeping work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards

Qualification

Required

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Ability to read and interpret cut sheets, work orders, and technical specifications
Proficiency with measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.) and basic math
Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand/power tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, quality work
Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrate and uphold Power Design's core values of integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth
Lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly; occasional lifts of up to 75 lbs. with assistance
Ability to push/pull heavy wire reels using material handling equipment
Standing, bending, reaching, and walking for extended periods
Manual dexterity for handling tools, heads, and packaging materials
Comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing setting (noise, heat, dust)

Preferred

Prior experience in wire processing, electrical distribution, or manufacturing
Forklift experience or certification a plus
