Responsibilities

Teach both introductory and advanced level courses, in a face-to-face and online format, as well as assist in the development of curriculum
Utilize diverse teaching techniques to foster active learning
Lead and moderate classroom discussions
Administer and grade examinations and other coursework
Additional responsibilities will include advising and mentoring students as well as participating in campus events

Required

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field
A strong record of teaching. At least two (2) years of applicable teaching experience at the collegiate level
Knowledge of effective teaching practices, including online and technological instruction
Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts
An understanding of current trends in the field, best practices, and standards in cybersecurity
Strong teaching skills with the ability to work with a diverse group of students
Strong written and oral communication skills
Skilled in providing quality feedback on assessments to aid in student learning
Ability to mentor and advise students on academic and professional pathways
Ability to adapt to the changes in the field and incorporate them into the learning experience
Ability to connect, collaborate and work effectively with other faculty, staff, and industry partners

Preferred

PhD in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a closely related field
