Distribution Customer Service Representative I

They are seeking a Distribution Customer Service Representative I to manage office operations and ensure efficient functioning of the distribution center, including handling customer inquiries and coordinating shipments.

Responsibilities

Follows SOPs for office roles
Record keeping
Provides daily update on fire drill roll call
Functions as the backup Customer Service Representative for both inbound and outbound
Point of contact for scheduling of shipments, this includes:
Updating in-house tracker
Coordinating with the Leads on scheduling of shipments
Working with HQ’s Sourcing CSR on expedited orders
Ships of sample products
Handle customer inquiries and complaints
Coordinate drop off or pick up for sample orders by UPS, FEDEX, etc
Suggests procedural and policy changes to improve operational efficiency
Maintain supply list and order product as necessary
Helps with all employee engagement activities for the warehouse
Participates in the Product Quality Assurance Program
Maintains a clean and organized working environment for all employees in the office and office kitchen
Rearranges lobby display case to coordinate with specific customer visitors
Enters variances on containers into database (NetSuite)
Notates variances or issues with container on tracker
Reviews inventory reports in database (NetSuite)
Ships orders, including:
Distribute pending orders to Shipping Lead
Manage transfer orders between distribution centers
Other duties as assigned

Required

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Adaptability in a dynamic environment

Familiarity with clerical responsibilities, basic accounting, human resources practices, data entry, and administrative management procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Must possess mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work
Must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment

Preferred

High school diploma (preferred)
1-2 years of administrative experience
