Responsibilities
Ensure the accuracy of financial reports in compliance with company policies and Investment accounting
Thorough review of financial packages from third-party management companies
Provide timely and accurate reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Responsible for analyzing, researching, interpreting, and reporting financial issues
Reconcile bank statements, intercompany accounts and property subledgers
Ensure financial packages are completed and delivered in a timely and accurate manner
Resolve issues and document response to all review comments generated
Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
Requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and an openness to new ideas and procedures
Qualification
Required
2 years or more work experience
Ability to solve problems, think independently, and meet deadlines
Proficiency in accounting software (Yardi) and Microsoft Excel
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Preferred
Real Estate experience preferred; Construction Experience a plus
CPA or CPA candidate preferred
