The Grainger College of Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is seeking applications for an open rank teaching faculty position in the Department of Bioengineering. The successful candidate will teach courses in biomedical imaging and applied artificial intelligence at both undergraduate and graduate levels while contributing to the department's excellence through service and program development.

Teach effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
Contribute to the excellence of programs through service to the department, the university, and the profession
Teach courses in the Biomedical Image Computing (BIC) graduate program and other relevant courses in Bioengineering degree programs
Qualification
Required
A doctoral degree in bioengineering or a related field is required at the start date
Candidates must be able to teach effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of modern pedagogical practices
