Responsibilities
Responsible for leveraging strong technical evaluation skills, including the ability to interpret disparate, complex information into a range of alternate futures (i.e. scenario planning)
Utilizes research skills and quickly evaluates competitive and industry dynamics with respect to (technical and economic) impacts by new and different technology/technologies
Leverages standard corporate strategy frameworks and applies analysis from a technical perspective
Integrates both technical and strategic analysis into a synthesized set of hypotheses and conclusions
Distills core components of complex problems into succinct and easily understood set of key decisions and conclusions
Demonstrates confidence and poise in presenting hypotheses, conclusions and recommendations to senior management
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 days per week office presence
In-depth knowledge of the relationship between technology (current and future) and the rest of AT&T's business
Understanding of one or more key technology domains (IT, network connectivity, media/content technology, etc.)
Expert level technical professional
Advisor on technical knowledge and AT&T technologies
Typically requires 8-10 years experience
Preferred
Preferred Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; or equivalent experience
