Southcentral Foundation (SCF) is dedicated to serving Alaska Native people and is seeking a Senior Compliance Internal Audit Manager. This role is responsible for managing SCF’s Internal Audit Program, which includes conducting risk assessments, internal audits, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Management and coordination of SCF’s Internal Audit Program

Conduct organization-wide risk assessments

Perform internal audits and compliance reviews

Manage external audit requests and monitoring activities

Conduct annual and other periodic reviews including audits of financial and business controls

Provide risk-based and objective assurance, advice and insight

Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations and guidelines

Assist in monitoring the efficiency and effectiveness of operations

Provide independent, objective assurances for financial reporting

Qualification

Internal Audit ExperienceCertified Public Accountant (CPA)Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)Certified Fraud Examiner (CFA)Accounting DegreeFunctional ExpertDetail OrientedTeam Player

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Three (3) years of internal audit experience or CPA firm experience; OR five (5) years of significant accounting or budgeting experience

Certified Public Accountant (CPA); OR Certified Internal Auditor (CIA); OR Certified Fraud Examiner (CFA); OR must obtain certification within one (1) year of date of hire
