Responsibilities

End-to-end program management of TiEcon, a global conference attended by 3,000+ participants and featuring world-class technology and business leaders
On-time, on-budget delivery of a complex, multi-track conference experience that meets quality, scale, and stakeholder expectations
Trusted partnership with senior volunteer leaders including CXOs and VPs serving as track and session co-chairs
Clear operating cadence, decision frameworks, and communication that enable volunteer leaders to succeed with minimal friction
Consistent, high-quality execution across TiE Silicon Valley’s diverse programs, including education, GTM certifications, thought leadership, funding access, mentoring, youth initiatives, global immersion programs, member engagement, and TiE Women
Scalable systems and operating processes that ensure programs run smoothly, predictably, and efficiently throughout the year
Measurable improvements in program delivery, participant experience, and internal coordination
Strong, trust-based relationships with volunteers, members, partners, and internal teams
Proactive communication, structured follow-ups, and clear accountability that keep initiatives moving forward
Professional judgment, discretion, and responsiveness when working with senior leaders and high-profile stakeholders
TiEcon is delivered flawlessly, earning strong feedback from attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers
Year-round programs run with operational excellence, clarity, and consistency
Volunteer leaders feel supported, respected, and eager to continue contributing
The TiE Silicon Valley team operates with better alignment, visibility, and execution velocity

Required

5+ years of program or project management experience, ideally within entrepreneurship, technology, education, or community-driven organizations
Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs from concept through execution
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of clear, professional follow-through
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and volunteers

Preferred

Experience managing or supporting large-scale conferences or events
