Vice President PowerFLX

The Vice President of PowerFLX leads project execution teams in delivering large-scale EPC construction and power installation projects, providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities
Lead PowerFLX operations to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets
Oversee day-to-day functions and long-term strategy for the line of business (LOB), including staffing, training, and team development
Provide strong, visible leadership to project management, construction, and engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and on budget
Establish, manage, and regularly update operational budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics
Drive process improvement and standardization in project controls, reporting, and risk management
Partner with executive leadership to define and execute business strategies that expand PowerFLX’s market presence
Oversee commercial management of major EPC contracts—negotiations, change orders, and cost control measures
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards (OSHA, ISO), and client contract requirements
Build a high-performance culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Mentor and develop project leaders; ensure succession planning for key positions
Report division performance to SVP and CEO, providing data-driven insights on progress and risk mitigation
Champion customer satisfaction and stakeholder communication across all projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
10+ years of EPC project leadership experience, ideally with both field and corporate exposure
Proven success managing complex, multi-discipline construction projects or portfolios exceeding $100M
Expertise in project controls, commercial contracting, and change-management processes
Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L for a large operational division
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, coach senior managers, and develop scalable processes
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
