Nonprofit Administrative & Marketing Assistant
The University of New Mexico is seeking a Nonprofit Administrative & Marketing Assistant for the National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation. This role offers students hands-on experience in nonprofit administration and marketing, contributing to the preservation and promotion of Hispanic culture.

Responsibilities
Assist the CEO and Board of Trustees with general administrative tasks
Help with scheduling, correspondence, and meeting preparation
Support the Marketing and Development teams with projects and campaigns
Assist in creating and distributing e‑newsletters to engage the community
Help maintain the Foundation website with updated content
Contribute to social media initiatives that highlight our programs and inspire community involvement
Process membership tasks, including data entry and organization in our CRM (Raiser’s Edge/BlackBaud)
Ensure accurate and timely updates to member records
Work with the Foundation team to organize digital files in Teams/OneDrive
Review, scan, and file documents according to the approved retention plan
Identify outdated documents and coordinate secure disposal
Qualification
Required
Current UNM student eligible for work study
Strong organizational and communication skills
Interest in Hispanic arts, culture, and community engagement
Comfortable with technology (Microsoft Office, social media, CRM tools a plus)
Reliable, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn
