Summer Internship - Quality
Danone is a purpose-driven company and an industry leader in the food and beverage category. They are currently looking to hire a Quality Intern to support the Quality department by advancing quality and food safety, creating a knowledge database, and identifying quality improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities
Conducting, and sometimes leading, research, analysis, and improvement projects related to department goals
Actively engaging the current workforce, through job shadowing for example, to effectively achieve project and department goals
Presenting project findings and solution proposals to peers and plant leadership
Other duties, as assigned
Qualification
Required
You must be a Junior, Senior, or recent graduate of, a Food Science, Food Microbiology, Food Chemistry or similar degree program with an interest in the Food and Consumer Packaged Goods industry
Ability to operate in a team environment and adapt in a changing work environment
Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a proven ability to handle multiple projects with conflicting deadlines
Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees at all levels, including janitorial, management, and executives
Ability to follow direction and work independently
Excelling written and verbal communication skills
Strong math, computer and logic skills
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Excellent organization skills
Preferred
Previous work experience in food manufacturing is preferred but not required
