Responsibilities
Lead performance of reliability predictions
Support design reviews
Lead failure analysis and root cause and corrective action studies to assure Customer Satisfaction
Complete FRACAS and FMECA related investigations and analysis
Work across multiple engineering teams to help implement design changes for products being produced
Lead fellow team members on program(s) to conduct test data analysis and trending
Provide technical direction to the factory for field return assets
Provide technical direction on system assembly and disassembly when onsite technical personnel cannot resolve problems
Work with team members to provide data driven recommendations and solutions to the customer covering a wide range of technical subjects
Approximately 15% Domestic and International travel may be required
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
Experience with Testing and/or Testability
Experience with reliability analysis or failure analysis
Experience with FRACAS, FRB and/or RCCA
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
DoD Clearance: Secret
Preferred
Engineering leadership experience
Experience performing reliability predictions for electronic hardware
Experience managing multiple technical projects and customer requests in a fast-paced operations environment
Experience developing and providing technical presentations to audiences including the U.S. and international customers
Experience with system assembly, disassembly and test
