Responsibilities
Lead activities such as incident investigations, material preparations, and correct action development/implementation
Study/analyze accident causes and health hazards
Create safety policies and procedures to comply with regulations
Inspect all facilities for accident and health hazards, following with corrective/preventative measures
Create and implement training programs to increase knowledge and proficiency in safety practices
Stay current and manage ISO 14001/45001 standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree (or a Safety Certification) with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of regulations (OSHA, ANSI, NIOSH, NFPA, etc.) and industry standards (such as ISO 14001/45001)
Successful track record implementing EHS standards in established companies, working with team members from high-level management to the floor
Ability to address emergency situations outside regular hours when needed
