Payment processing of all WakeMed liabilities (approx. $515 million/year) in a manner that maximizes the organization's cash flow
The accurate posting of expenses
All problem resolution and follow-up related to WakeMed vendor obligations
Establishing, maintaining, and enhancing vendor relationships through regular contact with the vendor's sales and accounts receivable representatives
Education about the services and supplies provided by the vendor
Knowledge of the vendor's process for handling discrepancies
Becoming a key factor in problem resolution and negotiations with the vendor when billing/payment discrepancies result in service charges
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
4 Years Accounting/Finance - Accounts Payable Required
