Responsibilities
Focus on finding sales and building projects with them
Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Work with the Oracle applications sales organization to identify opportunities develop new business in assigned key client accounts and nurture client relationships
Generate and pursue new business (logos) supported by a lead generation / channel team
Serve as the client facing lead on sales pursuits from opportunity identification and qualification through close
Work with the Argano Solution Architect and Industry Lead organizations to position Oracle based solutions and identify opportunities, qualifying service opportunities, developing a sales strategy, working on proposals and client presentations. The SCE will engage the appropriate Argano resources and subject matter experts and work to differentiate Argano in the sales process. You will work collaboratively with Oracle and other brands/organizations within Argano
Manage the shaping and closure of opportunities, leveraging Argano specialists to support as necessary
Present differentiated positioning to all levels of client management ranging from line-level management to the executive office
Develop and adhere to a sales plan for targeting and penetrating new business
Complete all aspects of the business development cycle, including prospecting/cold calls, discovery, presentation, proposal creation, contract negotiation, and relationship development
Infiltrate and influence decision-makers at the highest levels within 'large enterprise' and 'mid-market' accounts
Manage and nurture key client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
Collaborate with other departments to enhance service offerings based on client feedback
Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities
Achieve and exceed sales targets within assigned territories
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling proposals and presentations
Travel required to clients as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or related field, expected
Professional demeanor to include excellent writing, editing, speaking, planning, and presentation skills
Self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively with other team members or individually
Strong interpersonal, social, and networking skills
Demonstrated success selling deals in the $500K to $5M range
Experience crafting and executing strategic and tactical plans to close large revenue projects
Strong sales management knowledge and/or experience
Experience selling high end, project-based, professional technology consulting & managed services
Ability to identify key decision-makers within organizations, present a clear, concise case for partnering with Argano and close business through superior customer service
Experience with a complex pursuit process, proposal development and oral presentations that win new business
Ability to gain access and influence decision-makers at the highest levels in client organizations
Strong presentation / communication / team skills
Ability to meet deadlines and ensure that your customers and prospects are receiving timely feedback and support as needed
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Proven success in managing complex sales cycles and closing deals
Leadership experience in a sales or account management capacity
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Sales Acumen: Ability to meet and exceed targets. Strong understanding of the sales process and ability to navigate complex sales cycles
Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends and competitors
Strategic Thinking: Develop and execute strategic account plans
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively
Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients. Collaborate with internal teams to provide effective solutions
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to close deals that are mutually beneficial. Ability to handle objections and resolve conflicts
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to evolving market conditions and client needs. Willingness to learn about new technologies and services
Problem-Solving: Identify client challenges and propose effective solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs
Preferred
MBA, relevant master's degree or PhD preferred
Minimum of five years of demonstrated experience selling Oracle Cloud CX/EPM/ERP/SCM/HCM preferred OR other consulting services with enterprise software companies and/or top tier consulting firms
