Learning Management System's Lead Administrator - ADMINISTRATOR IV

The Colorado Department of Revenue is seeking a Learning Management System's Lead Administrator to oversee the effectiveness of the LMS and improve processes based on best practices. The role involves managing mandatory training, coordinating with other state agencies, and designing curriculum based on adult learning theories while ensuring the user experience across the LMS is optimized.

Government Administration

Responsibilities

Manage user experience across the LMS, including hosting office hours for other administrators
Assists in managing licenses to ensure we are fiscally responsible
Coordinates with other state agencies to assign quarterly mandatory training
Subject matter expert in LMS, providing ongoing support and proactive learning opportunities for LMS program administrators across CDHS
Collaborates with OIT and LMS support to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Assists the Performance Development Specialist with the performance module in the HCM and any future systems with launching and monitoring performance tasks
Performs data management within the LMS
Building and assigning live and asynchronous training
Manage Learning Management System
Technology Initiatives
Training Management and Facilitation
Professional Development / Other Duties as Assigned

Required

Minimum of 3 years of experience in LMS Operations in the Cornerstone platform
2 years in a Technical Support role, 1 year in Backend administration, equal to seven (7) years
A combination of related education in Computer Sciences, Education, Communications, or Science, and 3 years of LMS Operation in the Cornerstone platform, 2 years in a Technical Support role, and 1 year in Backend administration, equal to seven (7) years
Standard background check and reference check required
This position requires State of Colorado residency at the time of application (unless otherwise identified in the posting), and residency within the state throughout the duration of employment in this position
Motor Vehicle Check
Must possess a valid, non-restricted Colorado Driver's License or a non-restricted U.S. Driver's License for positions within 30 miles of the CO state border
Travel: This position must travel to accommodate training, as well as for Human Resources events and activities

Preferred

Expert LMS system knowledge, especially in Cornerstone
Customer Service
Effective Communication - written and verbal
Problem-solving and resourcefulness
Relevant years of State service should be considered as a preferred qualification to be used to determine the top candidates on the referral list
